Pivot Learning Partners Hires Cheryl Dodge as Chief Business Officer
Burlingame, CA (February 2, 2015) — Pivot Learning Partners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing public education, has hired Cheryl Dodge as Chief Business Officer. Dodge has more than a decade of experience in education and education-related businesses.
Serving on Pivot Learning Partners’ executive team, Dodge is responsible for managing the organization’s administrative, business development and operational functions, including marketing, sales, services expansion, facilities operations, budget development and technology. She will also work with the Chief Executive Officer on fundraising and strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Pivot, Dodge was a Vice President of Technical Product Management with McGraw-Hill Education and, before that, a Director of Instructional Design with Scholastic Education. She received her MA in Education from Chapman University in California, where she also earned a teaching credential, and her BA in Liberal Studies from Saint Mary’s College, California.
Pivot Learning Partners currently serves more than 70 school districts in California and is seeking to grow its impact, influence and income both within California and beyond.
Chuck Pappalardo, managing partner of Trilogy, led the search for the Chief Business Officer position.
